What is Fanzuruu?
FANZURUU
FANZURUU is a movement that uses social media as a platform to encourage the community especially youths to see beyond their horizons in everything they went thru on a personal basis or a community as a whole and also as a citizen of the world.
Through multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube), we will literally ask viewers and readers through our simple motto FANZURUU in pondering God’s creations, actions, and sayings.
Why FANZURUU?
FANZURUU was started in the year 2011 by myself and a few friends, namely Adi Rusyaidi, Hidir and Huzaifah. - A Malay proverb literally translates as: “be like the rice stalk, it bends lower as it is laden with ripening grains”.
- The meaning behind this proverb is to show that when one posses greater knowledge or a higher rank, one should be more humble. In other words, the greater power, the greater humility.
FANZURUU WRITES
- A centralized open platform for youths to share their knowledge, opinions, or experiences through the art of writing.
- Encouraging the culture of writing amongst talented youths or youths who have a passion for sharing knowledge and experiences.
AMEUS
Ameus is an abbreviation for (A-Levels Mentorship for Usuluddin and Syariah) It is a free mentorship program held yearly by returning Islamic Studies undergraduates for students taking Usuluddin and Syariah for their A-Levels.
